Use case / Customer operations

Move faster for customers.
Keep the boundary.

Customer-operations agents can resolve routine requests quickly, but refunds, credits and account changes still carry authority and consequence. UBIKITOS gives those actions an explicit path to act, pause or escalate.

01 / A bounded workflow

One request.
Four checks.

Capability

Can the agent perform it?

Is the connected system able to issue the refund or change the account safely?

Evidence

Is the request supported?

Order, identity, policy and prior-action evidence are current and reconstructable.

Authority

Is it inside the mandate?

Amount, customer, action type and exception rules match the approved boundary.

Consequence

What if it is wrong?

Reversibility, fraud exposure and customer impact determine whether control rises.

02 / Example decision

Routine when
the conditions hold.

A refund agent may be allowed to act when the order is verified, the amount is inside the mandate, no matching refund exists and the action is reversible. If evidence is stale, authority is unclear or the consequence is higher, the same request can be deferred or escalated instead of silently failing open.

Customer request / governed outcomerequest = refund EUR 180 evidence.order = verified evidence.duplicate = none authority.limit = EUR 200 consequence = reversible outcome = ALLOW next = execute + preserve record

03 / What changes

Automation with
a visible edge.

The goal is not to make every customer action wait for a person. It is to make the safe path explicit: routine work moves inside a defined boundary, exceptions surface with the missing condition, and every consequential decision leaves a useful record.

Good pilot boundary: choose one action class—such as refunds under a fixed limit—and measure approval volume, exception rate, time to resolution and reconstruction quality before and after.

04 / Continue

Take the next
measured step.
